Safe Room
During CMU fall and spring semesters, CMU Sexual Aggression Services has reserved space to provide short-term alternative housing for any CMU student who is in need of temporary shelter due to experiences of sexual aggression. For example partner violence, ramification of a sexual assault, stalking incidents, support while pressing charges and utilizing the criminal justice system.
Space is limited, to determine availability and access this service during CMU fall/spring semesters, please call the SAPA crisis line at 774-CALL.
During CMU breaks and summer semesters, please utilize Women’s Aid Services 772-9168 for immediate assistance or call 911 for emergency situations.
